Spending Our Family Time at Duddingston Loch, Edinburgh

This is our second year here, in Edinburgh. It means that we've been living in Edinburgh for nearly one year. We have passed four seasons since we came to Edinburgh on Sunday, 8th of November last year. That was nearly the end of autumn, but those days were quite cold for us, who used to live in Indonesia with the temperature around 28 degrees and came to Edinburgh with the temperature between 4 and 5 degrees. We welcomed our first wonderful winter with full of excitement to see the snow. I still remember, when the first snow fell in the winter last year, I was having a cup of tea and sat next to the window on Friday night. The same as autumn and winter, Spring and Summer also have they own wonderful beauty. In Spring, all parks, gardens, and green spaces are bursting with flowers. And the summer months are ideal for exploring the city because the weather is usually warm and pleasant, it doesn't get dark until at least 9pm so we have more time to spend out of doors.

It's summer, we don't need to wear our coats dad

Time flies so fast, in this second year we only have a few months left for exploring Edinburgh. Then, we decided to explore Edinburgh every weekend. Officially, yesterday was the end of summer, we did a picnic at Duddingston loch, Edinburgh. But no one knows something silly happened, hahaha. We started going out from home at 10am and stopped at the nearest stopping bus to Duddingston, ( it's according to google map ) because we had never been there before then we just followed the direction which directed by google map. When we arrived in  the stopping bus, my husband told us " according to google map, Duddingston loch was not far from here ". Ok, let's follow our leader, after ten minutes by walk I asked him " was it the place? " I was standing in front of the gate, " No, it was not ", he replied. After another ten minutes, kakak Aufa asked his daddy " was it the place, daddy? ", unfortunately, he got the same answer from his dad.

As kids seemed tired, then we considered taking a rest in the green space next to Arthur's Seat, instead of sitting nor lying down on the grass, they even ran, chasing each other. After a few minutes, we continued walking to find the Duddingston loch, we were still curious where it was. Evidently, The Duddingston loch quite far from the stopping bus where we were stopped before. However, many things to be thankful for, the beautiful view, lovely weather and friendly kids.

if you walk from Holyrood park to Duddingston loch, you're gonna find this long way with a wonderful view

are you tired? just have a seat and a cup of tea may be hahaha
